AEGIS OF GAIA
AEGIS OF GAIA represents the planet's protective, nurturing presence, acting as a buffer for the human psyche against the weight of the cosmos. While other terms like POLARIS APOAPSIS deal with celestial detachment, the AEGIS OF GAIA is grounded in the terrestrial experience.
THE DIVINE SHIELD OF THE MIND: I define AEGIS not as a physical shield, but as a psychological skin. Just as the atmosphere protects the Earth from solar radiation, the AEGIS OF GAIA is a layer of conscious connection to the Earth that guards the individual from existential despair.
GROUNDING IN THE DIVINE MOTHER: Consistent with my focus on the AMALGAM NEBULA, I view the AEGIS OF GAIA as the personified psyche of the Earth.
THE CONNECTION: To be under the AEGIS OF GAIA is to live in a state fully active and aware of one’s own biological and psychological dependence on the Earth.
THE RESULT: This awareness provides a sense of safety that we are currently being held and protected by the planet.
